We Run Beirut presents Studio 54 revisited
Before Ibiza was “that” island, before Ministry ever opened its doors…there was only Studio 54.
For 3 years from 1977 to 1980 Studio 54 reigned supreme. It was a place where you left your inhibitions at the door, where you came as who ever you wanted to be…if for only the heat of the night.
Frequented by some the eras most iconic personalities Studio 54 was a club that defined an age.
This time our goal is simple… we are going to take you back to a better a place. Where the music was warm and the drinks flowed like water. To a place where real life seemed like only a blur. On February 4th, 1980 Diana Ross sang one last tune and the Studio closed it’s doors. The world has never been quite the same.
32 years later and a world away we will revisit the allure that made Studio the most infamous club the world has ever seen.
To keep the mood we graciously demand that you come as they were.
Show up at the door as one of the famed regulars or incognito…just another disco fiend.
Taking you back to a better day, when disco was the heart beat and the dance was our religion…
