WALKABOUT DRUM CIRCLE visits TRIPOLI
Friday 11th of October: Get prepared for the first visit of the Walkabout Drum Circle community to Beit el Nessim.

” Tripoli is very close to my heart, I have visited friends there, walked the streets, bought the best soap, ate the delicacies, visited the islands…
not once, not twice, but numerous times for the last 15 years and it’s always been pure pleasure!
Also, Tripoli is home to close friends and Walkabouters, some of which live in Beirut and are part of our community, the others who sometime travel all the way to Beirut to be part of our drum sessions, yes!
A visit to Tripoli was bound to happen….
the recent tragic events that shook the city made the urge to organize our visit even greater.
Here we are, arranging for an unforgettable night:
my wish is to spend peaceful time with you around Music and food at Beit el Nessim, el Mina, bringing our communities even closer,
together we can make it happen!”

7.30-8.00 Welcome gathering and Tea
8.00-9.30 Drum Session with the Walkabouters
9.30-11.00 Vegetarian Dinner by Beit El Nessim
11.00 Songs and Dance Music by WDC
Fees for the whole night: 20.000LbP
-The drum session is an opportunity to try something new, you will have the chance to drum and experience the dynamic Walkabout drum sessions.
-it’s is important to reserve your place for the drum session, we can have around 12 drummers for that session. it will be on first come first serve bases,
-for those traveling from Beirut to Tripoli we’ll arrange for bus shuttle(s). Location of rally and fees per person will be announced soon. please leave a comment on the wall
