Nelly Furtado “Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)” The Review

Nelly… Oh Nelly… Why??? you had a very distinguished style why your comeback should sound Rihanna’ish??? she slays her own style, she is versatile with all kinds of singing, and with big hoops you sound like a mix of “Rude Boy” and “Man Down”
What do you think guys? Am I right? The youtube comments also shows that I’m not the only one who noticed the resemblance…

Listen to it below:

Let me say the song is good but honestly you instantly think of Rihanna when you first hear it, it has a nice Urban Pop/R&B sound and it hook you up with its chorus, the bigger the better the bigger the better the bigger the better… the Dubstep beats at the end sound really nice after she says: “Oh, I thought this song was over. Nope, it ain’t over yet”

The Darkchild produced song sounds a bit of old Timbaland beats, seems Nelly inspired him to steal some of those TIM beats because they sound so good with her voice. Anyway let’s get over the stealing and the copying and enjoy the song, it is an addictive one that makes you rape the replay button!

    Amazing addictive kickass song!
However, I don’t like the review. Don’t judge the comeback style with only one song on mind. If somebody is versatile with different sounds, that’s definitely Nelly, and we are yet to hear the rest of this album when it comes out. And it doesn’t sound like Rihanna, Nelly Furtado sounded like that loooong way before Rihanna even stepped on the scene, think about who sounds like who. And learn the genres’ basics, the ending is not dubstep, it’s drum ‘n’ bass, there’s a huge difference.
