Jordan : Floor to Ceiling exhibition
This year’s Summer Exhibition at Nabad draws together a wide range of works by over sixty high profile and up-and-coming artists from Jordan, the region and abroad, whose works are permanently available in the Nabad store.
A rich visual experience is created through a dense display of paintings, limited edition prints, photo-based works and sculptures to suit both beginning and seasoned collectors and art lovers.
Among the works on display are new works on paper by established Jordanian artist Nabil Shehadeh; rare 1980s watercolours by Palestinian painter Samir Salameh; giclée limited- edition prints by renowned Lebanese painter and printmaker, Mohammad Rawas; recent works by Egyptian-Jordanian artist, Ayyad El Nimer; prints and Sufi-inspired photographic works by Iraqi artist Mohammed Al Shammarey; vibrant natural landscapes by celebrated Lebanese painter Hassan Jouni; new works by Jordanian artist Ghada Dahdaleh; and Jordanian printmaker Juman Nimri’s first paintings.
Additional new works on display include limited-edition prints by Barcelona-based Palestinian artist Samira Badran; paintings by Iraqi artists Serwan Baran and Ghassan Ghaeb; works on canvas by Jordanian painters Riham Ghassib and Samar Haddadin; and by emerging Jordanian painter Nour al-Taher.
Also featured are Swiss artist Barbara Gabathuler; Syrian artists Ziad Dalloul, Fadi Yazigi and Khaled El Saa`i; Algerian artists Rachid Koraichi and Abdullah Benanteur; Sudanese artist Rashid Diab; Iraqi painter and printmaker Rafa Nasiri and Iraqi artists Himat M. Ali and Sina Ata; Lebanese artists Hussein Madi, Doris Bittar and Rafik Majzoub; photo-based works by multi-cultural artist Eman Haram; and paintings by Bangladeshi artist Tina Ahmed.
Also on show from Nabad’s store are works by Jordanian artists Ahmad Nawash, Mohanna Durra, Fuad Mimi, Khalid Khreis, Ufemia Rizk, Farouk Lambaz, Diana Shamounki, Clara Amado, Nawal Abdullah, Ammar Khammash, Hani Alqam, Saba Innab, Omar Bilbeisi, Ali Maher, Saleh Abu Shindi, Jan Kassay, Muhammad Nasrallah, Dodi Tabbaa, Ghandi Jibawi, Samah Hijjawi, Nahla Sabri Tabbaa, Naila Deeb and Muhammad Doheidel.
Works by established Palestinian painters Laila Shawa, Vera Tamari, Rima Farah, Jefar Khaldi, Suleiman Mansour, Nabil Anani, Tayseer Barakat, Khalil Rayyan, Ahmad Canaan and Rana Bishara are also on display.
A number of sculptures by Anees Maani from Jordan and Imad Dhaher from Iraq are also on show.
