Deadpool Movie [review]
An R-rated movie with a lot of superheroes (yeah I said it) content.
Yesterday, I watched the complete R-Rated version of the movie in Canada, and it was exactly as expected. A hot mix of PUNS, comedy, dark twisted super hero stuff, and some (very well received) nudity.
So why invent the wheel? In case you don’t know the plot, IMDB gives it perfectly:
A former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment, after being diagnosed with terminal Cancer, that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopting the alter ego Deadpool.
The movie was heavily campaigned as a romantic-comedy, and director Tim Miller delivers that and more! Sexual hints, a twisted love story, sarcastic hints to X-Men, The Green Goblet, Captain America and way more.
You will laugh, cry and fall in love in Deadpool in case you didn’t know anything about the “guy in red spandex”. The story is unconventionally well written and don’t forget 3 things:
- Focus from the first second.
- Focus till the last second (yes it has post credits)
- Try not to fall from your chair from laughing hard.
My Rating? 8.5 / 10
