Beirut Yoga Festival 2014
Welcome yoga lovers to your annual retreat that harmonizes body, mind and soul: The Beirut Yoga Festival!
This first-ever, one-of-a-kind event is happening on September 20th, 2014 in the green outdoor space of Pleine Nature Mansourieh. Everyone from yoga enthusiasts, to first-time yoga beginners can get their tickets at the door for only 20,000 LBP. Children and teens under 16 years of age attend free of charge, and all proceeds from this non-profit event go to the Lebanese Red Cross.
This year’s Festival revolves around the theme of “Khod Nafas خُودْ نَفَسْ .” As we all know, living in the capital of Beirut can be hectic and draining, and that’s why we invite all Lebanese to take a deep breath, “Khod Nafas خُودْ نَفَسْ, ” and engage in the practice of yoga to heal their body, mind and soul and reach a more relaxed state. That is the ultimate aim of this year’s Festival; to introduce Lebanese to the harmony of body, mind and soul through yoga, and to bring together seasoned veterans as well as yoga lovers to practice and celebrate this beloved 5000 year-old ritual.
Join us for yoga, meditation and healing sessions with Lebanon’s foremost yoga gurus, from sunrise to sunset, a healthy luncheon and closing raffle draw, for the chance to win airline tickets to Nepal.
On the sidelines, the festival’s Market Place will showcase local organic food, handicraft jewelry, yoga apparel, as well as a variety of locally-made natural products.
Whether you’re a yogi, or first-timer, grab your yoga mat, pull on some comfortable clothes and join us for this unique day.
Date: Saturday, September 20 from 7 AM to 7 PM
