Vinifest 2012

Vinifest is the pinnacle event of the fall season, bringing together thousands of wine lovers from across Lebanon to celebrate the largest and most exciting wine festival of the Middle East.

Designed to enhance the economic development of wineries, food producers and businesses, and enhance the Lebanese industry and tourism. Vinifest is known to offer the best forum for showcasing and consuming wine and food accompanied by items that match the sophistication of wine.

Last year, the event was widely successful, bringing together 24 Lebanese wine producers and more than 40 exhibitors who offered to a public of over 15,000 visitors a unique display of their best products, all made in Lebanon and Italy. We are very pleased to inform you that the festival enjoyed very broad media coverage, including the internet and social media, which testified the notoriety, quality and appeal of the event.

This year, Vinifest 2012, will be held with the collaboration of the UVL and the Lebanese wine producers begining of October at the Hippodrome of Beirut. The theme of this year’s Festival is Food and Wine pairing, and Vinifest will host tasting events, dinners as well as guest Chefs.

Wine-School: This year, Vinifest is inaugurating ” Vinecole”, where wine lovers will learn valuable tasting techniques. Vinecole will be lead by the ASE (Association des Sommeliers d’Europe), which is represented by its Vice President, Mrs. Brigitte Le Loup. Participants who attend 2 sessions will receive a certificate of completion.
